Episode 7
Time of Day: Same Day; Afternoon
At the Forrester Mansion, in the Foyer, Quinn comes down the stairs. She lets out a deep breath and walks into the Living Room. She walks over to the bar cart and touches the whiskey in its crystal bottle. She then smiles.
(FLASHBACK)
At the Forrester Mansion, in the Living Room, Quinn undoes a bottle of alcohol and pours it into Brooke’s bottle of juice.
(END OF FLASHBACK)
QUINN: Oh Brooke, you’ll learn not to mess with me sooner than later.
On the Forrester Grounds, at the Guest House, Ridge enters the house. He leaves the front door cracked. He then walks over to the desk and begins searching through a pile of files.

RIDGE: That file has to be here somewhere. I’ve gotta get back to work.
Then, the door shuts. Ridge turns around, just as Shauna enters.
RIDGE: Shauna, what are you doing here?

SHAUNA: I was hoping that I’d find you here.
RIDGE: Yeah, I just came back home real quick to grab a file for a conference call I have in about an hour. Are you here to see Quinn up at the main house?
SHAUNA: I was. (going to Ridge) But, I felt the need to come and see you first.
RIDGE: Why exactly?
SHAUNA: Because, I know that you’ve been trying to patch things up with Brooke. And, I don’t blame you. You’re still married to her.
RIDGE: Shauna, get to the point.
SHAUNA: Just know that before you go back to her, I still have feelings for you.
At the Spencer Mansion, in the Living Room, Brooke and Katie enter.

KATIE: What brings you by, sis? I thought you’d be at the office.

BROOKE: I was on my way to the office when I had to make a quick stop this morning. A stop that I think you should know everything about.
KATIE: Oh.
BROOKE: I really would like to talk to you about it. I just hope that I’m not interrupting anything important at the moment.
KATIE: Nothing at all. Bill just went out to grab some things for us. We’re planning a commitment ceremony to one another.
BROOKE: Katie that’s wonderful.
KATIE: Truly is. Now, what’s going on?
BROOKE: I don’t know if you’ve heard about this or not, but Taylor has returned to LA. And, you might want to inform Bill to lock the doors at night, because she is clearly still as unhinged as ever.
At Forrester Creations, in the CEO Office, Sally and Steffy are sitting at the conference table. Sally scooches her chair forward.
STEFFY: I’m really sad that you have to leave us. But, I do understand where you’re coming from. I get that you want to take the trip of a lifetime.
SALLY: While I still have life to live.
STEFFY: Sally, you’ll get through this. You’ll beat this. I know that you will. We’ve been through a lot since you came to LA. And, through it all, I know one thing to be true. You’re just like your Great Aunt. My grandmother knew she was tougher than nails, and so are you. Myeloma picked the wrong Spectra to mess with.
Back on the Forrester Grounds, at the Guest House, Ridge goes to Shauna.
RIDGE: You should really be going. This is inappropriate and I really need to get back to Forrester Creations for that conference call.
SHAUNA: Ridge, I don’t want to overstep at all. Yet, I don’t think you can deny the chemistry that we shared with one another. You kissed me after all. And, I was even there for you when you were trying your hardest to pick up the pieces from you and Brooke’s separation at first.
RIDGE: I’m still trying to do that. What happened between us was a mistake. Shauna, you are an amazing woman. And, any man would be lucky to have you. However, you should know, that now more than ever, like I’ve mentioned to you, I am committed to my marriage to Brooke.
SHAUNA: Okay. Fine. I get it.
Shauna goes back to the door.
SHAUNA: Just know one thing, Ridge. My door’s always open.
Shauna smiles seductively and exits the guest house, closing the door behind her. Ridge takes a deep breath and then goes back to searching for his missing file on the desk.
Back at the Spencer Mansion, in the Living Room, Brooke sets her purse down on a table near the bar cart. She takes a look at the liquor on the bar cart, lets out a sigh, and turns back around to face Katie.
KATIE: In what ways do you think Taylor is still unhinged?
BROOKE: For starters, I was one of the first people she saw.
KATIE: Seriously?
BROOKE: Yes. She was at Forrester Creations to see Thomas. However, Thomas and I were having a very heated argument, as usual. Then, with Taylor in the mix, things only got worse. She sided with Thomas on everything and slapped me.
KATIE: (shocked) She did what?
BROOKE: Yeah, that was the exact reaction I had. Anyway, I later asked Ridge to talk to her about what she is really doing in town. Taylor said she was back to help heal the broken bond between her and Ridge’s children. I would’ve believed her if it wasn’t for her suggesting to Ridge that he should hire a lawyer to draft up divorce papers.
KATIE: Why should she say that to him?
BROOKE: She claimed to Ridge that it would be his final step in taking Thomas’ side with everything. But, we both know that Taylor has always wanted Ridge away from me for years.
KATIE: What happened when you went to go visit her today?
BROOKE: She threw my history back in my face as I tried to reason her. It’s interesting to me. Everytime I try to bring up a fault of Taylor’s, she just attacks me for my past.
KATIE: Brooke, you’ve done a lot of things. And, some of them have hurt me. But, we all know that Taylor lives in a glass house.
BROOKE: Exactly. I brought up the whole Jack situation.
KATIE: Good for you.
BROOKE: By the way, she revealed to me that he’s coming back to town.
KATIE: Really?
BROOKE: Yes. I wonder if he wanted to…
KATIE: Or…?
BROOKE: Or, maybe she’s bringing Jack back to town.
KATIE: Why do you think she would do that?
BROOKE: In hopes to get under my skin more. That Jack situation was hard for all of us. And, even though 12 years has passed, the wounds are still there.
KATIE: Taylor is proving to be a wildcard.
BROOKE: Yes, she is. There’s no telling what will happen with her next.
Back at Forrester Creations, in the CEO Office, Steffy turns in her chair.
STEFFY: You know, if you want, you can borrow the Forrester jet. I wouldn’t mind.
SALLY: Thank you. But, Katie already offered me the Spencer jet.
STEFFY: That’s great. You let me know if you need anything else, though. And, also know that you have a job here as long as you want. I know, I know that you have asked me to accept a resignation. But…
SALLY: In a way you aren’t going to?
STEFFY: Exactly. Sally, we have come such a long way. And, you are truly talented. I want you on my design team for life. When you’re ready to come back to work, or if you feel the need to break out the sketch pad, come directly to me.
SALLY: I definitely will. Steffy, thank you. For everything.
STEFFY: Of course. Not a problem.
SALLY: Do you think Ridge is going to be upset?
STEFFY: Don’t worry about my father. I’ll take care of it.
SALLY: (laughs) Thank you again.
STEFFY: All you need to worry about is what bathing suit you’re going to wear for this vacation. Of course you’ll need something Insta worthy.
SALLY: You know it!
The two women share a laugh.
Back at the Forrester Mansion, in the Living Room, Quinn sits on the couch. She is holding a bottle of liquor in her hands.
QUINN: I wonder what I should do. I don’t think Brooke is going to back down. I won’t either, of course. I have to find a way to continue to eliminate her as a threat. By getting her sloshed repeatedly, I may be able to access her achilles heel.
Quinn smiles mischievously. The camera zooms in on her.
